  1. Adults believing in the OT and NT is weird enough, but grown men and women falling for this relatively contemporary nonsense blows my mind.

    • I completely agree, but only because of what I know now.

      I joined the Mormon Church because of an ignorant mistake. And my ignorance did not subside as I was a wilfully ignorant member. That was until I faced up to my ignorance and started properly evaluating the many questions and doubts that I had put on a shelf in the very back of my mind. I used my faith to circumvent any difficulty that could be faith destroying.

      Eventually the shelf had broken under the weight of what seemed to be a mountain of “issues” and I began to systematically look at the Church through new eyes. Sounds simple, but it wasn’t. It was a hard path. But, as an ignorant grown man, I had brought it on myself and I had to see it out.
